About Me

Hi! My name is Wesley Hays, but you can call me Wes (I am the big handsome guy above with my beautiful wife). We live in Kansas City and own/manage mobile home communities in the Midwest. 

This blog came out of from my experiences. I have managed or owned Mobile Home Parks for over a decade. I own my own investment company and property management company in the industry. In my past, I have been a CEO/COO of one of the five largest mobile home park operators in the United States, and before that I have worked in upper management for 2 of the  three largest operators. Along with that, I have worked for some great companies that specialize in market rate apartments, section 8, LIHTC, and several other forms of multi-family housing. I have managed or owned over 30,000 lots in 26 states, helped acquired over 8,000 of those, and purchased over $15 million worth of mobile homes. I also am just a small mom and pop operator now who owns a couple of parks and fully understand the joy and pain of owning a mobile home park on your own. I started this blog after seeing several of my peers struggle with operations and ownership of mobile home parks. I want to give insight, share mistakes (I have made a ton), and help you be as profitable as you can as an owner. I will detail experiences, walk you through processes, and give you as much detail on the subject to help you conquer your investment.
